Van and Commercial Vehicle Security
For trades and fleet operators, a stolen vehicle or a stripped load means lost time as well as lost property. Adding visible, dedicated locks to the most common points of attack is a practical way to reduce that risk.
Van door locks
Bulldog van door locks are designed to add security beyond the factory-fitted locks.
- The Bulldog VA50 is a pair of locks keyed alike, for the rear door and nearside sliding door.
- The Bulldog VA101 is a single lock for the rear door or offside sliding door.
- The Bulldog VA102 is a single lock for the nearside sliding door.
The VA50 can be locked without the key, is Insurance Approved, and is eligible for Bulldog’s Security Key Registration Service. Bulldog offers a 5-year guarantee on it via registration.
Lorry and trailer doors
- The Bulldog LD300 secures the rear external handle on lorry and trailer doors with handles up to 45mm deep.
- The Bulldog LD200 is designed for Whiting shutter door handle type 77.
- The Bulldog CT220 suits Schmitz trailer doors (not fridge units).
- The Bulldog CT550 and CT600 are designed for Chereau box trailer rear door systems.
Containers
The Bulldog CT330 and CT440 are adjustable container door locks that can be moved from container to container. For skips, the SK10 suits roll-on roll-off skips and the SK15 fits general skips with lifting lugs.
Articulated trailers
King pin locks stop a trailer being coupled to an unauthorised tractor unit.
- The Bulldog KP20 fits 2″ (51mm) king pins.
- The Bulldog KP35 fits 3.5″ (89mm) king pins.
- The Bulldog KP100 secures against unauthorised coupling to the fifth wheel.
The Bulldog AI20 Air Line Lock and AI25 Palm Lock prevent the trailer brakes being released. As well as security, they help prevent unauthorised movement of a trailer during loading and unloading.
Fuel
The Bulldog FTP10 fuel tank lock fits over the gate valve and is secured with a 25mm lock bolt.
